About Us

This Golf Society is a club with a long tradition. For us , its not all about enjoying the game we love, winning is nice , but also the taking part and having a bit of fun, either on the course or in the bar after the game. No one feels out of place or embarrassed at their own standard of golf. We are a group of golfers of all abilities, who meet at different local golf clubs once a month for a friendly game, including coffee or tea and bacon rolls before we start, a round of 18 holes of golf, and usually a one course meal after each game. In addition a small presentation to celebrate the days achievments, the way in which we organise our events means that everyone has a chance to win one or more of the awards.

We do not differentiate between any of our members, we have no limit on age or ability, we all have a handicap of all ranges. We are always happy to welcome new members who are interested in joining in with our clubs activities, and being part of a club. We have a modest joining fee of £30 for a season, and to pay as you play throughout the season for your golf. Our Golf days can vary in cost depending on the venue, between £40 and £60. We mainly play individual stableford competitions.
